Growing up, I often was asked to avoid or all together stop complaining. Many times reminders that complaining was useless and wouldn’t yeild the things I wanted were verbally loaded onto me. Now that I have been a customer as well as a service provider, I can safely say that those people were wrong! Complaining gets you everything and if you don’t have it yet then you simply need to complain louder and more frequently! That’s why I would like to voice the following complaint:

Give us wagons! I’m talking full, executive sized, not lifted with plastic moldings wagons!! The Mazda6 wagon is gorgeous, the Fusion wagon is stunning, and the Optima wagon looks phenomenal!! I just want something more practical than a compact hatchback and more responsive than a freaking midsize crossover. We should have wagons! This is a America, we were raised in wagons!! We have a right to wagons!!! Gimme wagons in enough abundance for there to be options!

I’m going to complain until we make this happen. Who do I need to email, fax, call, and/or bribe? I’m not above paying a premium anymore because I’m at a point where I honestly need the vehicle. Help me out here automakers. Buick Regal wagon? I heard it’s on the way but I need confirmation and I need a competitive market.

No one buys wagons in America. Won’t happen until gas hits $4 a gal again and stays there.

We would have. We have dogs, kids, and a general loathing of SUVs. I’ve owned an Elantra touring, an Elantra GT, and now, simply for the sake the interior space, a subie outback. With waaaaay too much suspension travel and one missing pedal. But, since I’m here, on Oppo, I have to assume that a significant portion of Americans disagree with my views on brown manual diesel wagons.

I wish they’d make more wagons the same way I wish manuals were more common.

Best way is to do it like what the guy in Colorado does with Utes. If you want a Subaru Levorg, buy a used/salvage Legacy. Import Levorg shell and levorg components. Put legacy firewall on jig, and put levorg shell on jig. Mate jigs. Mate firewall and body. Now you have your JDM Levorg wagon....and that’ll be around 90k please.

Why would that bring us wagons? There's plenty of 30+ mpg CUVs out there.

I saw a Levorg in Switzerland this summer. It was cool, but not that cool. Just buy a Volvo wagon.
